Our Client-Centric Process

My New Villa is a senior housing referral company based on Northeast Ohio.  All services are free of charge to the family needing to find a residence.  We get paid by the community that you choose to move into.  By working together with My New Villa, all involved can rest easy, assured that the entire process – from intake to move-in and follow-up – is handled professionally, with compassion, fostering the best transition from home or out of the hospital, rehab or skilled nursing facility, to a long-term living solution.  

Assessment With Local Senior Living Navigator

The first step in getting started is to meet and walk through a personalized assessment to review what care needs you or your loved one has, personal preferences, and financial resources so that we can narrow down the search to those assisted living or memory care communities that are the best fit for your goals.  This can be scheduled wherever is most convenient- at home, at a family members home or where they are currently receiving rehab are most common. 

Review Options

The next step is to review those options that are the best fit.  Review will include background information on each community, including ratings that other residents and families give them and what areas they felt they were strong and weak in, state compliance history and unique properties based on our personal tours of the locations. With this knowledge your family can then decide which communities are the best fit to take a look at in person.

Tour Chosen Homes

Based on your schedule, we will set-up tours of the chosen locations and work with them to ensure you can get the most out of your time there.  We will attend the tours with you and be available to answer questions along the way.

Final Decision and Move-In 

The final decision is up to you, and we will be there to answer additional questions, help review the pros and cons of each option and walk you through the steps as you make the decision. To ensure the best transition, we will assist with walking you through the move-in steps and connecting you to any additional resources needed along the way.
